July 2008: busy busy busy

Whew. There’s so much to say!

May and June felt like they’d never end. But, they did! Thanks be to God! Lauren finished her Master’s project and she thinks she now has a M.Ed. from UCLA. But, she’s not sure since she hasn’t sent in the official, bound copy and the Governator hasn’t sent her diploma yet. The gibbeadles spent June back and forth between the Bay and Los Angeles as Beadle resumed work from San Francisco and Lauren finished the school year (sort of, kind of: she took a few days off here and there). They're currently residing at Lauren's parents' house which has been an "experience" for Beadle who has spent more time there than Lauren has over the past year. And it's been lovely for Lauren who doesn't have to cook or clean and can spend lots of time with her Mommy. This arrangement has been especially comforting for Lauren since the gibbeadles also discovered in June that they are expecting! The first trimester wasn't as painful as it could have been thanks to Lauren's supportive family! Love you!

Now it’s July! Lauren is entering her second trimester. The gibbeadles have seen their baby and heard its heartbeat. The whole family is excited to welcome a baby gibbeadle around January 22, 2009. Meanwhile, the gibbeadles are also celebrating their first anniversary! Beadle has a big industry event. They’re moving into their new apartment. Update your address books: 1130 Wellington St. Oakland 94602. Once they’re settled in Lauren will begin a new job. New job to be determined. So we’re busy busy busy.

Then will come August. Beadle will travel and kick video game PR booty as usual. Lauren will be coordinating a Faith, Science and Music camp at Bethel CPC and be filling the new apartment with stuff.
